The IgniteU NY early-accelerator program is an 8-week, intense experiential education program that combines customer discovery, business fundamentals and mentorship.  The program will help a startup develop and validate their business model, build a strong business foundation and enhance the founders’ network.  The program does not provide funding but instead connects teams to resources in the region.

Criteria for a Core-Team:

  • The founders have received some early mentoring or been through an entrepreneurial development program (at a college, boot camp, chamber of commerce, local events or online)
  • The startup has a basis of a business plan or business model canvas
  • The team is willing and able to be located in the Capital Region throughout the program
  • The team has the ability to have a full-time commitment and therefore the team cannot be in another program simultaneously
