Robert Manasier

  • An entrepreneur with experience in over 100 startups, Manasier is the CEO of In Focus Brands. In addition to In Focus, Manasier currently serves as Entrepreneur-in-Residence of the Sage Colleges and Business Development Director of Revenew Intl. As an executive, Manasier serves on numerous boards, including those of Autonomy Distributors, IFP Films, The Diamond Point Co-Development Fund, Saratoga Springs Sports Tourism, and the Saratoga Springs Recreation Commission. He has also created and developed the Economic Development Acceleration Labs (EDA LABS) to assist small- to middle-market businesses to be faster, stronger, and smarter in building their company.

    • Bill is one of the lead mentors for the IgniteU NY Summer 2016 early-accelerator program. Bill grew out of the New Product Delivery side of Fortune 500 and startup business. He benefited form unusual, early mentorship and formal coaching from cutting edge leaders in Change and Leadership. After successfully transitional two businesses into more successful New Product Delivery, Bill realized his skills in Change and Leadership (culture and process) were more broadly applicable. Bill applied those skills to pivot several other businesses before co-founding HR Resolved.

Bill Dailey

  • An attorney and MBA who has worked with emerging ventures and technologies for more than fifteen years, Dailey has worked closely with innovators to develop business and legal strategies around new technologies; forming and growing new businesses; defining and protecting intellectual property; negotiating contracts and licenses new technologies; and building sustainable business models. Mr. Dailey has worked with a number of universities to foster entrepreneurship and commercialization of new technologies.

Penny Hill

  • Associate Dean, Hudson Valley Community College TEC-SMART

  • Penny Hill was named Associate Dean at Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART Facility March of 2011. Ms. Hill brings with her more than 10 years of experience in the field of workforce development with a focus on training for energy efficiency and green jobs.

    Penny provides leadership in developing industry partnerships and maintaining cutting-edge initiatives in developing the workforce of the future.  Presently, at the College she coordinates the StartUP NY program partnering with businesses and entrepreneurs.   In addition, she creates important community and business partnerships to link them to degrees and training programs.  Previously she was an independent business development consultant, and she managed her own small business for 10 years prior to her work at the Institute.
