His entrepreneurial spirit was sparked in high school when Robert worked for a small business owner managing a gas station. He began his entrepreneurial journey at the Walt Disney Company. His experiences at Disney and another startup turned Fortune 500 company, Apple, helped shape the foundations of the startup he founded in 2005.
For the past 12 years, he has mentored college interns and startups in a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, IT, retail and marketing, through his virtual mentorship program at Braathe Enterprises. In addition to his work at his own company, Robert is a part-time professor at The College of St. Rose, Siena College, HVCC, SCCC and SUNY Adirondack, teaching topics such as Entrepreneurship, Sports Marketing, and Project Management. His community involvement includes being a mentor in the Saratoga Mentoring Program, a volunteer in middle school classrooms for Junior Achievement and frequent guest speaker at his alma mater, UMass. Robert has an MBA from Western Connecticut State University and a BS in Hospitality Management from UMass Amherst.
